Henry Todog

We're sure we couldn't have introduced Henry Todog better than how he introduces himself: "Since childhood I liked to draw, but it was only an occasional pastime and a pleasure - I can say that I drew only a few pictures altogether. In 2018 I did a tattoo course, but thanks to covid I didn't stay with tattooing for long. I didn't start painting until February 2022, thanks to a friend who asked me if I could draw Stanley Ipkiss from The Mask. Until then I had never painted with paints, unless you count watercolor art class in elementary school. The Mask painting unexpectedly had such a positive response that it naturally made me want to continue painting. And being a film and cinematography nut, it was natural for me to stay with film and series themes within my work. This fictional world has been a source of inspiration for me from a very young age, and more than one character from my favorite stories has helped me through difficult times in my life. I want to pay homage to the art of filmmaking with my work, because it is a world I have come to love. I intend to continue to explore film and series themes in the future, because honestly, from my point of view, it is an inexhaustible well of inspiration and I already have so many ideas for paintings in my head that I don't have time to paint them all."
