TOMÁŠ KUČEROVSKÝ (comic book writer and artist; Czechia)

Tomáš Kučerovský was born in Brno, in 2001 he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Brno University of Technology. He deals with magazine, newspaper and book illustrations, comics, book cover designs, board game illustrations, advertising illustrations and storyboards, sketchnoting, whiteboard animations and videos. Since 2000 he has been co-publishing the comic magazine Aargh !, co-founder of the publishing house Analphabet books.
His comics have appeared in the anthologies Aargh, Generation Zero, ČVUTIX, Inseminator, We're Still at War, Total Engagement, New Stories of Fast Arrows and more.
He illustrated books for Albatros, Argo, Straky na vrbě, Paseka, Triton and others, worked for Heineken, Telefonica O2, Vodafone, Autodesk, Sony music, X production, Nadaci Partnerství, Post Bellum, Hadivadlo, drew newspaper strips and illustrations for Deník, Hospodářské noviny, Nový prostor, participated in a total of nine computer and eleven board games (including the popular Codenames). His comics have appeared in several international anthologies (Poland, Macedonia, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Belgium, Korea).
In 2006, he participated in the International Comics Workshop in Singapore, organized by the ASEF Foundation, in 2012 for a residential comics stay in Brussels, as a guest guest in the comics festivals in Seoul, Haarlem, St. Petersburg, Lodz, Kendal, London, Moscow, Bucharest and Bergen.
Participation in more than 30 exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad (Slovakia, Poland, Macedonia, Italy, Romania, France, Russia, Singapore, Korea, Netherlands, Belgium)
In 2012 he published a comic book monograph ZOOOM with the publisher Analphabet books.
