Jiri Kilevnik is known as a visual effects artist in Hollywood and Canada for projects such as Games of Thrones, Stranger Things, Star Wars, WandaVision, Bloodshot, etc.
He was born in Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic and currently lives permanently in Montreal, Canada.
Jiri was drawn to the visual effects at a very early age, when he first saw the Star Wars a New Hope movie.
After graduating from school, he began working in Prague primarily on commercials in post-production studios and agencies. After gaining experience, he moved to the role of a freelancer and worked, for example, in Barcelona, London, USA in renowned studios on visual effects. He also worked on his own projects such as the development of digital actors using artificial intelligence, the integration of artificial intelligence in the field of visual effects, which makes everyday work easier for the artists. For example, he collaborated with Spotify and the singer the Weeknd, where he used this technology to create his digital double, which is able to communicate using machine learning algorithms.
Now he works as a visual effects supervisor for the renowned worldwide known Canadian visual effects studio Rodeo FX and works on projects from Marvel, Netflix, Amazon, Warner Bros. and more.
He has received several awards for his work, for example from Australia, the USA, Canada, Great Britain, and France.
